KD and I are in Holly Springs, MS tonight. We're gonna ride into Tupelo, MS tomorrow (Sunday) morning and ride the Natchez Trace Pkwy to the Nashville, TN area. Anyone in the area riding that way tomorrow keep an eye out for us. I'm on the red/black Valk IS, she on the '86 Gold Wing. Ride safe !!

I rode the northern end of it a couple of years ago and enjoyed, I did get stopped because I had on a non DOT helmet. The officers hasseled me but let me go when I agreed to put my 3/4 helmet on.

I was headed South on a black 1800 Gold Wing to Greenville for a funeral.

Ken, no, we rode from Memphis to Holly Springs on 78 Saturday.  Today on to Tupelo and north on the Natchez Trace into Tennessee. Rained ALL day....we're in Lebanon, TN tonight.

Have a friend that lives in Lebanon.

Rode the Natchez from Tupelo to US-72 in Alabama back in 06 .... nice road. No trucks, beautiful scenery and not a lot of traffic.

Ken, no, I live in Bristol, VA.....headed that way tomorrow. I passed an exit on 78 yesterday for Olive Branch I think.

Thom, I like that there are no trucks on the Trace, especially today in the rain. When one passes me I can't see anything for the water spray. Hope it's not raining tomorrow when I hit I-40 toward Knoxville !!
