Anyone up for a ride this Saturday? High of 74. 0% chance of rain.

I have a meeting Sat morning, but I know there were folks talking about lunch runs to Muenster, Springtown (Shinola's), Nocona (car museum and Forgotten Times) among others. Anyone want to lead a run to a favorite of theirs?

I ll be riding all day tomorrow. Anybody interested bring your Dual sport or a GS-Valkyrie and we WILL find some dirt, gravel and unpaved roads and a some low water crossing for good measure.  Grin Grin Grin.

Leaving from Dublin at yet to be determined KSU around 9-10 am. The actual location is secret.

Gary I didn't mean to (Just like  uglystupid2 Killary said) to steal your tread. Our high for the day came in at 63 with no rain and cloudy all day.

It took us from 10 am (we ended having to fix a flat first) to 5 pm to travel 88 miles and we rode almost all day.  We only had one get-off Shocked Shocked and on several occasions our sweep rider got to see several close calls.  cooldude Grin.

We saw wild hogs, a coyote being chased by 3 big birds, a herd of buffalo, a big buck, does and a lot of deer hunters. Rivers we crossed on dirt roads where the Savanna 2x, Leon 3x, Rush Creek and several smaller creeks. Most importantly of course is the traffic report. After we left town we encounters with as many as 3 vehicles all day of which one was parked.

However I am sad but not surprised to report that no GS-valkyries showed up for this spectacular ride.

So were these rides just rumors or by invitation only?

Chuck, I thought about trying to be funny in response, but I got nuthin'
These have been discussions at the last couple of meetings and weren't specific to last Saturday. With the great weather forecast, I just wanted to help folks get out since I was stuck in a Saturday morning meeting. I was definitely dedicated to getting out on the bike after the meeting, what with the weather being so nice.

Then, welcome to Texas weather where the forecast does not necessarily equal what happens. We got 1.5" of rain Friday night and a good bit of rain Saturday (after my meeting was done). Hoping for clear weather for Thursday night!
