a new home. Little D, the new owner, along with Big D, took it to its new home this AM. While it was tough after owning it for 13 years, I know that it will have a good home with my friends Darrell and Deb. Here's a pic of Deb taking it for a test ride ( not that she doesn't trust Mark and I )

Great news that Deb is able to ride, sorry you had to part with the bike but if that is what you needed to do it was the right thing.
I am sure that Deb will bring it over to visit for CBR and you will probably get to ride it as often as you ask her
She and Darrell are good folks. Is that a smile I see behind the helmet?

You could not have found a better new home for Emanuel, Wayne. It's satisfying to see the things we no longer use go to someone who really appreciates them. Deb & Darrell are like Allstate... it's in good hands!

Wayne, I know how you feel about giving up the Valk.
If you ever drive that Miatta down into the Evansville area, please let us know and plan on staying with us. We'd love to share our place with you ... and also share lots of Valk stories and pics.

After seeing you old timers selling off your rides, I have decided they will have to pry my cold dead fingers off of MGM. Then have mom let the 2 youngest kids fight over it & the Trike.

As you know RJ, my young'uns had first dibs on the Valk. Two have Valks and the third didn't want it. As it is, I sold it to my other family, good VRCC members. Better to do that than let it set, right? Now it'll be pleasing someone else.

Better to do that than let it set, right? Now it'll be pleasing someone else. Same here, Wayne. One of my sons does not want a motorcycle. The other son owns a Suzuki Hayabusa and does not want a cruiser. So, I sold our Valk to a man in Montana who had a 1983 Goldwing and fell in love with Valks. At least she is being ridden many miles by someone who appreciates her ... and in a beautiful part of the country. Good decision, my friend. RJ, if it weren't for my riding enjoyment coming from 2-up riding, they'd have to pull my cold, dead hands off of the handle-bars too. I just dont' want to hurt Navigator because of diminishing riding ability. Ride Safe, my friend.

That makes me feel very good, Deb and Darrel. Always a pleasure to have both of you visit, especially this time. Made the transition for me much easier, a really nice bike for a really nice person. Thanks Deb. The good times on the Valk will be remembered. The BEST bike that I ever had!!! Starting a new chapter as Gilligan said. Lessee, the riser for the Nighthawk's handlebars should be in today. I'm hoping to get in a ride or two on the Nighthawk before the cold weather sets in permanently. Maybe if I'm lucky, I can make the Nighthawk into a 300 mile/day bike. That would set me up fine for next year, I think........ Also, thanks everyone for the kind words. Wayne
