We have endangered their "Free Stuff" mentality (free education, free food, free counseling on PC matters, free liberal advice, etc) . They have been brainwashed into thinking that the government will look after them mentality. We are into a third generation of "Im not responsible for my actions."

That's why their freedom of expression allows them to riot, steal, and destroy, and not see the the stupidity of their actions.

that beating by the 2-3 young black people on the older white guy pisses me off if it was just for voting for trump having a bumper sticker as well.

I wish that older white dude would give one a good smack at them, beating both to a pulp.  But like most gang bangers,  2-3 more would jump on in and like most of us, unless chuck norris, we no matter how strong we are,  most likely cannot take on 3-5 of them all at once without a weapon of some kind even a baseball bat or snow scrapper brush in the car.  I have a pretty sturdy and long snow scrapper brush that would do some damage before I broke it over their heads.

I even read at yale university a teacher there is allowing student exams not to be taken due to trump being elected - what has this world come to?  uglystupid2

Would it not have been awesome if that poor old white guy had a gun? once they started just point and pull the trigger. these little bastards might think twice before they ever did it again if they watched one of their friends die in the street. Just one reason i carry everywhere. I eill not be sought out and treated like a stray dog without a way of defending myself. I hope they find eveyone involved and try them for attempted murder.

Just shows the violent side of the losing team. These people get handed everything their entire life and when something does not go their way their only answer is violence. This has a lot to do with the Trump protests. just give it time and there will be more of these violent outbursts.

hopefully a non-establishment president can work on this attitude, bring the police force back and the respect it deserves. You would think the "black" leaders would be out preaching that violence is not the answer, but instead promote it. It's a sick world we live in today.

I didn't like the perspective applied to Obama and I don't like it applied to Donald Trump.

In this country we are not given the right to pick our own personal president.  We are given the right and responsibility of being part of the voting populace that selects a president.  Once he's elected he is the country's, our, President.

Lovely... The spousal unit works in downtown Dallas and they just got an e-mail blast from building management to get out of the area, the same upstanding folks that orchestrated the riot that got 5 Dallas cops killed are gonna have another "protest" tonight...

Sheesh...

I might have to start carrying a big caliber autoloader with "illegal clips" so I can put more of them down, 1 shot per w/o reloading, instead of the two .357's I carry now.  Glock 21 (.45acp) with a cpl extra 13 rnd "clips" oughtta be the ticket. Have a SCUBA friend in WI who says he'll dive for my guns if I give him the GPS coords.

I have a Son in law who works 75-80 hours a week to provide for his family. He has never had anything "handed" to him. I have 2 young men that work for me that are good, hard workers. Don't expect anything handed to them. So I would refute your thesis.  coolsmiley

While we held ourselves to a high standard, didn't break any laws, didn't stop traffic, didn't beat anyone up, there definitely were anti-Obama protests, I and my eldest spawn attended several of them.

We'd stand in a field near a busy road, or on an overpass, wave flags, hold "IMPEACH OBAMA" and other related signs, etc...

Of course, seeing as we weren't Democrats, we were only able to hold our protests after work hours or on weekends, but yeah, there were anti-Obama protests...

Well you know there are exceptions to everything but did they go out and beat the crap out of an old guy with a Trump/ Pence bumper sticker? Did they go out and March the streets in Protest?
I applaud your SIL for doing what he SHOULD do and the other two you speak of but I will guarantee there are 100 to each of those that think the other way. I see it all the time. Techs in the O R for example bitch and moan about starting pay at $17 an hour. They want top pay from day one and don't know a Damn thing. When I quit the same Job I was making $11.12 and was topped out  but was expected to train people to do my job that were making more than I. Told them no thanks and moved on.
I worked two or three jobs up until about 15 years ago , only have one now and I still work 70+ hrs a week.

I don't know if there are a 100 dead beats to each hard worker or not. I've had both kinds in my career. But I've never taken the time to do a mathematical equation for it. I have my doubts though. But you said ALL of the younger workers are like that. I do know that is dead wrong.  coolsmiley

Dude this is just like the rest of the political threads around here you see one thing while 98% see it another and " they" do want it handed to them don't want to work to get ahead! And yes there are exceptions as I stated before.
I guess I should have separated the participation trophy part being the problem.

And the part where kids don't want to work for anything they want it handed to them.

Are these lines far enough apart to be able to seperate the two? 2funny

Apparently these people do not understand why the electoral college exists.  It was evolved by some wise people who understood how necessary it was to mitigate the force of mob rule.  I will not continue a diatribe, but in 08 I had my opinion of the Obullshiter and said that he was not my president.  I did not beat people because they had the O sticker on their car. I waited until I could bring change thru my vote.  It took X2 elections, but it has happened.  It now remains for our elected head of state to demonstrate that he can do.

I have to wonder who coordinated these demonstrations?
Same signs (many not homemade) same chantings in most locations.
These were/are not spontaneous gatherings but choreographed.
Who set these up and who paid for them?
What's coming on inaugural day?

I have to wonder who coordinated these demonstrations?
Same signs (many not homemade) same chantings in most locations.
These were/are not spontaneous gatherings but choreographed.
Who set these up and who paid for them?
What's coming on inaugural day?

Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wallstreet, and now the Trump protesters are all the same people. Bought and paid for by guess who.
