Nope. Took repubs to pass civil rights. Not true.
Ok ...lol.. Did you read the article? What does it matter at this point? Trump has already said he doesn't support the KKK, how is he or any person suppose to stop any particular group from "supporting" them? Do you really believe it would make a difference if he were to say "I don't want your support"? I for one do not believe the BLM movement means anything to the people who it is supposedly representing. If it did they would be cleaning up their own neighborhoods from the gangs, drug pushers, pimps, hookers and anyone else which keeps them from progressing. Those who do try to improve themselves are know as sell outs and criticized.

That group is nothing more than a white version of Black Lives Matter.
No need for either one in this country.
I'm not aware of the Black Lives Matter movement lynching anybody. Assassination is more honorable than lynching? BLM openly calls for assassination of cops... which has occurred on numerous occasions. The KKK is wrong. BLM is wrong. I agree they are both wrong.

Simple question
Simple choice
The answer is.......?
If one "rejects" the question then what happens when the choice is put to you ?

It went back and forth. Some changed. Some did not. Very intricate.
Those who were Klan, voted Dem. Over the years some switched, some did not.
Trump got a lot of votes from blue collar union workers. They used to vote Dem. Voted Republicans this year. Does that make Trump a Dem president?
This is the point I'm trying to make... You're trying to equate today's D and R parties with the parties back then. They were opposite in ideology to what they are today. Yesterday's Democrat party was similar in platform to today's Republican party, and vise versa....How else can I say it? To say the Democratic party gave birth to the KKK, it was in name only, and not party platform. Read the article, and put it in the Googler..... How could you seriously believe that racist Southern Democrats would make a mass switch to the party that had fought for black civil rights since its inception in 1854? That theory was an attempt by the Democratic party to hide its history of racism and dump it on the backs of Republicans. The numbers prove how ridiculous it is. During the century and a half following the civil war, only a tiny handful (less than 1 percent) of Southern Democrat politicians actually switched parties. Instead, Southerners began voting more Republican as the South became more tolerant. The 'New South' could no longer stand racist Democrats like George Wallace and Lester Maddox. This movement began affecting electoral and legislative maps in the South in the 1970s, though it took many more years for Georgia (2004) and Louisiana (2007) to elect Republicans to run their states. So maybe you also believe that LBJ was a closet Republican? Hardly. He resisted the Civil Rights Act of 1964 while his party filibustered it. The bill was actually sponsored by Republican Senator Everett Dirksen, who also authored the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The Democrats often try to rewrite history, so I'm surprised they still celebrate Andrew Jackson. He ordered atrocities against native Americans, and brutally abused his own slaves. No Republican president or member of congress ever owned slaves. The history of the Democratic party is not a pretty one.

What's all the fuss about? Why there isn't one acre of BLM land east of Colorado and I don't see any protests being reported on the 250 million acres in the west!!!! All we got are coyotes, jackrabbits, vultures, pronghorn, wild horses, wild burros, slow elk (livestock) and much, much, much desert. They're content. Whenever I see the Bureau of Land Management's initials used in that context I'm sure that my neighbor who works for them must be laughing his boots off. "Hello, BLM offices, Grand Junction, Nate speaking." "WHAT?" "Nope, they're not here." Yeah, when I first saw this "new" group call themselves BLM I thought "you gotta be kidding me!!" These idiots can't even come up with their own acronym?!?!

And today's Democrat party perpetuates the same racist division it ALWAYS has.
Promises the minority communities everything under the sun, provides nothing, allows rampant crime and oppression to continue, keeps them stupid with failing schools and refuses to allow them freedom of school choice to better themselves, stands down and allows their communities to fall apart and burn as their leaders blame the other side for all their hardships.
Even under a black president, black attorneys general, black mayors, black school principals, black police chiefs, etc., the community falls behind all other communities in every measure we use to define success and failure.
And, as stated before, when a member of the community revolts and succeeds, or speaks out against these atrocities, he's condemned by his own people.
But it's Bush's fault because he "hates black people". Yet a black president does ABSOLUTELY nothing to help his own people. Why should he, his girls have the world in their hands. They have money, a private school education, and are protected from harm by armed guards, never having to worry about walking home from school through a shooting gallery.

But he wasn't a Republican. He died in 1826, while the Republican party wasn't founded until 1854.

It's kind of interesting... I don't think the Democrats have been this worked up since the Republicans freed their slaves!
