I see many pics of tourers with the driving siganl light config.  I know it is a light bar, but has anyone seen a mod for that same effect for an I/S, ie a sideways "T" with driving lights below the signals?

You could fork mount highly functional driving lights either as spots or floods. 50 watt halogens work nicely. You would have to downsize to keep them from hitting your radiator pods though. No way a 4.5" driving light will clear the pods mounted on the forks.

My fairing doesn't come down quite as low as your I/S fairing, yours pretty much covers the lower clamp thus impeding most lightbars. But there would be room for the type of driving light I have installed. You wouldn't want to relocate your turns and leave holes in your fairing.

I had to replace my stock turns that were mounted from the underside of the Cobra lightbar because they contacted the pods I added to my Tourer.

My setup does not touch the pods or the bar grill that stands out from the radiater about 3/8" +.

You would have to pay critical attention to fender clearance and more importantly stoneguard clearances for the mounts.
