Gonna have to miss this one. I will be at the Turkey Run at Daytona Speedway all morning and into the afternoon, and in a TT bar in Tampa for the rest of the afternoon and early evening. Kind of a tradition, as last year, when my Best Friend was in the VA Hospital for Cancer surgery, was the 1st time in 25 years that we had missed the Turkey Run and the TT bar. Oh, and we end the evening with a great meal at the Outback on Dale Mabry before heading for home.

Jerry, If this is your 1st time there, I would recommend planning on being there the whole day. My buddy is disabled (Vietnam combat wound) and we rent Scooters because I could never walk that much following him. There are 5000 cars on display in the Infield, plus a large swap meet area in the Infield. There used to be a lot more Food vendors, but the Speedway has priced most of them out of existence. Greg and Joe Cobb and Frank usually ride over and go to an exhibit in Ormond Beach on A1A.

Sherry and I caged over many moons ago and spent about a half a day there.  Have you talked to Greg, Frank and Joe about going, or because of your buddy you don't go with the rest of the group?

I rode over with Greg and the guys last year, because my Buddy was in the VA Hospital. They do not want to go to the Speedway, and we do, so we do not go together.

Jerry & Sherry.....great picture you two. Wish I could have joined in but was not to be. The dining "porch" looks a bit different from what I remember, but it's been a while so who knows!  Wink

That would be three distinct tastes that would certainly cause conflict.  Shocked

There is also one pic like that of Mike and Liz where they are dangling their feet like little kids as well
