Love the second one, reminded me of a dumb stunt I did years ago while living in the Chicago area. I was working for Xerox at the time in an office in Elmhurst, suburb of Chicago. Behind our office was a small hardware store that also dealt in appliances and would resell good used ones....such as washing machines. We needed one badly so I picked up a decent one for $50 and figured we could use it until I could afford a new one. With some help from friends we got down the stairs into the basement and I hooked it up. My wife tossed in some clothes and let it fill. Washed real good.....until the spin cycle. At that point it was much like the early stages of the video, bouncing like crazy and walked to the end of the cord. My wife climbed up and sat on it, only to be bounced off rather quickly. The next day I talked to the store owner where I bought it, told him of the problem and asked if he might have sold me a bill of goods. He just smiled and asked if I had removed the shipping brackets, to which I said I had no idea it had any since it was a used machine. I checked soon as I got home, sure enough they were there, not allowing the tub to moved easily within the spring loaded supports. I removed the brackets, turned on the washer and away she went. We used that machine for nearly 20 years.
