 They want me to come in Thursday for a job offer at City Center her in Las Vegas NV. It's a multi billion $ project here and I will be a Facilities Maintenance Engineer at the the main Hotel and Casino Aria,YES!!!!!Thanks for any prayers and thought from all my friends,Grand opening December this year.

Congrats and best wishes HotRod. That is a BIG DEAL if it is the one I read about. They will hire 12,000 new people and they had over 120,000 apply for the jobs. Those figures blow my mind.  Undecided But, again the best of luck to you.  cooldude

I'm glad to hear you getting a job Rod. Will you be able to get Rhonda and I free rooms in the basement when we visit the grandkids?? I've driven by the place several times and it is HUGE! It will take a month just learn all the secret hallways you maint. guys will use.

Joanne worked for a casino, Indian casino, they have the market covered on reverse discrimination.
No Jeff,the prayers were for a job in general. I was out of work completely back in NOV and Dec, all my friends were just praying for work as well as for are other members that had suffered a layoff, no one prayed for a "casino" job specifically but last time I checked we have a few of those here in Las Vegas. 2funny Thanks for the kudos tho..

I don't have a problem working in the "den of sinners", I just found it amusing.  Grin

I hear the Casino maintenance jobs are great. Good pay good benefits. I couldn't get in to the Casino up north, they only put Native Americans in those positions.  Sad
