Hello everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that I heard from a friend of Laurie’s’ just a short time ago who had just spoke with Laurie on the telephone. She is walking with assistance; can you believe it? I was so excited to hear the news. She is still very weak in her arms and legs; she is also still having problems with her eyes.  They have a new brace on her body that fits much better. She had lost so much weight the old one didn’t fit well and was causing discomfort. Roxanne, Laurie’s friend, said when someone came to the telephone she asked to speak to Laurie it was Laurie. She sounded like “the old” Laurie. Her voice was stronger and she didn’t sound like she was in a fog.

I’m still reeling with excitement  “Laurie is walking with assistance”. THANK YOU Jesus.  Did I have any doubt with all the prayers and support she has been getting. Our God is an amazing God.  Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she continues her road to recovery.

Thank you all for your kinds words and support during this time.

I’ll let you know when I have more great news to share.

Blessings,
Carolyn

Are you an organ, tissue and eye donor for your state? Did you know one person can save or enhance the lives of up to 75 people. The # of people waiting for organs in the US would overflow the University of Michigan football stadium. It's the biggest in the country. Will seat over 109,000.

She's still in the same place. I'll make sure to let everyone know if and when there's a change.

Laurie is at:

Heathsource Saginaw
Attn: Laurie Bouchillon
3340 Hospital Road
Saginaw, MI  48603

Did I tell you she is "walking with assistance" I'm walking on a cloud myself.
