So today we hosted the feast for the family and all went as planned. Dinner was delicious. Now for years my Brother in law and I have ridden together and finally today i got him on a Valkyrie, two to be exact. at first he didn't want to ride but after dinner we retired to the garage and after eyeballin and sittin on both bikes i said how bout a quick ten minute ride. I had a helmet to fit him thanks to Jerry and off we went him on Teal at first. At a stop he pulled along side and said it reminded him of an old muscle car, a Mustang GT to be exact. Twenty minutes into the ride we swapped bikes and now he is on the Interstate, about ten minutes later he came along side and said, "I'll take this one". he currently rides a softtail HD, has had many bikes, scooters, a victory vision and so on, once we got home (40 min. later) he was so impressed with the smooth ride and how the car tires felt fine. He said one reason he doesn't like to ride other guys bikes is because he often wants one and this is one to want. "These Valkyries make Harleys look stupid". Now doesn't that make ya feel good ! It sure did me.

Great story Mike, thanks for sharing I recently tried a friends 2010 Ultra Classic, first time riding a Harley, nice bike but it felt like "A lot less of a bike" compared to the Valk. So, you think your brother in law will be looking for a Valk in the near future?

I road and owned a few Harleys in my day. After riding FJR's & Triumphs & Valkyries, it was a no brainer. I was never one to follow, always wanted to try different things, and I am happy to have found a Machine that does everything well

Just tell him to go back to school and learn to use the front brakes as well as the back.
