We only have a day and a half, or so, to nail this down, so let's get busy.

As discussed at the August and September meetings, we're meeting in Ft Worth this month.  The question is, "Where?"

Any ideas to refine or add to the following?

Sundance Square?
Stockyards?
Joe T's?
Mercado Juarez?
Angelo's BBQ?
Former Diner's, Drive-Ins, & Dives feature, Fred's Texas Cafe?

Those are great suggestions.  Unfortunately, I won't be able to be present.  My mother passed away this morning at 3:45am and I am in East Texas for her funeral.  You guys ride safe and have a great meeting.

If there is anything I can do for you and yours, Larry, just lean this way, Pal. I still don't know when that experience slows up on sucking big time. ~Jeff

I won't be attending either... Don't get off until 5:30 (or later), makes it hard to get there in time.

Plus I'm going to be worn out... headed to San Antonio tomorrow for my uncle's funeral.  Going to TRY to get back in time for work Thurs...  (8:30) Not sure I can make it, but if I do, won't want to get back on the road for a while

The latest weather report I saw this morning is calling for a 70% chance of rain on Thursday.              crazy2

That might be just what it takes to get The Jet out for his second meeting in a row!   2funny

It's OK if you come in a cage.  I will for the second month in a row.   Cry

This is the farthest west any monthly Thursday dinner/meeting will have been held in a long time.  Are you West-Siders going to let a bunch of East-Siders plan it all?   Embarrassed

In a coin-toss finish between Mercado Juarez FTW & Braum's Benbrook, the winner is Mercado Juarez.  (They have lots of tables and carnitas!)

Dinner @ 7:00pm, "Meeting" @ 8:00pm.  Come early, stay late, carpool.

Hey I thought of a pretty good place with several locations.  The Prairie House Restaurants. Good Menu and lots of room in all locations. cooldude

http://www.phtexas.com

We might look into them for future locations.

If it rains hard enough I might get out, I like about 2 inches an hour at least before I get out and get wet. LOL

I didn't realize it was time for the monthly meeting already.  We have endured having four people having the flu* for four days.  My girls went back to school today and I go back to work tomorrow.  It has been a rough week.

When I was looking at the picture and admiring those black cobra pipes on your bike I found something wrong. If I am not mistaken the slash cut on the pipes supposed to line up with each other. Kinda like they cut them all 3 at the same time. That's how the where on my bike.~TJ

T.J., that's the only way they would fit. I've had Cobra's before and thats the way the other Cobra pipes fit my bike.         Undecided
