Sounds like ya gave her some 'Snort'...  Hard to say if it sounds better or not with wimpy lap top speakers  Undecided  If you are happy with the result, then Kewl  cooldude

Buying one of these beasts, is just the beginning of a long term relationship, to tweak, and customize, all in pursuit of making her uniquely yours  Wink

Kevin,

I think it's pretty fun.  If you like it that makes it even better.  But for my bike I enjoy the "quiet" of the stock mufflers.

My Valkyrie is my first Honda after 30+ years of riding Moto Guzzis.  Do you have any idea how this might affect your air-fuel ratio?  Will the ECU be able to compensate?  And how might this affect mileage?

My Valkyrie is obviously a tad lean on deceleration ("sports car 'burble'").  But I certainly can't complain about mileage (40+ MPG on an engine that is not quite broken in).

If you really want my opinion : the sound is nice, but not for me.  Embarrassed

I feel guilty enough to ride a huge bike, anything smaller would do for sure (not as funny though), not to mention the public transportation which here is one of the best and as I have environmental worries  Roll Eyes, I won't ever modify the exaust system. As a convinced beemer, for the sound I like it low, so the cops don't wake up  Evil and the long trips are more relaxing  angel

You want answers??? Does it sound good? Yep. But I'm a wussy when it comes to exhaust and I am one of the strange ones that likes it quiet.  The slight drone around 65mph with the stock setup is something I would like to kill.

Is that the same drone I'm  complain about ?   At around  3 to 4  thousand rpm  ?
If so  ,  I figured out by opening your visor a little allows the some of sound to escape , that's if you are wearing a full face . Wearing my 3/4 face , much much less
