OK, so I have somehow lost some of the inserts for my I/S fairing.  You know the ones, the ones that keep popping loose and have to be epoxied back in.  I can't definitely identify it on the parts fiche.
Help?

Search the Tech Archives or check JeffK's site. The insert part numbers are listed there.

Cut off one of these  in 1/2 with some hot melt and used a screw and never budged

Rocketman, this is my specialty...  well, I've done it twice, once to replace the windshield and the other time to replace the headlights.  You can find the info you need here...http://www.stolaf.edu/people/marshall/fairing.htm

The part number you are looking for is 90316-MJ1-000 and they are called
"NUT, INSERT ( 5X0.8 ) (90316-MJ1-000)"  $2.50 EACH!!

Just let me know how many you need.  I bought about 12 of them and haven't used them.  I should have some left.
If you only need a couple, I can spare those.

I have a cracked I/S fairing. I could cut them out and mail them.

Thanks for the offers, ya'll.  I have already ordered several, though.  I'm not in any rush for them, so I'll just install them when they get here.
