I took Andy's & Highbinder's suggestion to contact Glyde about the connections on my 15+ year old  Gerbing jacket overheating and burning me.

As they requested, I sent them my battery connections, controller and jacket.  They returned my jacket with a new controller and battery connection and replaced one of my SAE connections in the jacket with a Coax connection.  After testing the jacket on a brisk (30+ degree) day, the coax connection worked great but the other SAE connection (that they did not replace) continued to burn me.   Undecided
I emailed them and they said "send the jacket back and we will replace the other SAE connection".  Not sure why they didn't replace it the first time BUT they have always responded to my email quickly (within one day) and been very pleasent during this time.  There has been no cost to any of the work Glyde has done to rectify the overheating issue.

It's nice to have a company that stands behind it's products. cooldude
