Got about 4.5 inches before it turned to sleet and some light rain.  I got out and cleaned it up before the snow got heavy from the sleet and rain.  Glad the snowblower started right up.   cooldude

Started here @ 8 this morning Tony, light and fluffy. (no not you)  Wink
Still coming down, probably 4" +/-.....Supposed to turn to rain later on,
so will get out before that happens and get it all cleaned up.
Right now we are enjoying a bottle of wine and wrapping presents !!!   Cool

I left Boston this morning at 8 a.m. and it took me almost 4 hours to get back to Connecticut. The roads were terrible, white out conditions and accidents everywhere.  We got about six seven inches here at the house.

I'm really glad Laura wasn't with me driving home.  She would have been a mess

Highway driving in the snow absolutely sucks.  Glad you got home safe!

Not sure what time it switched over to rain last night...
Just finished the morning clean-up....Damn, it's more water than snow !!
There was an additional 2" of heavy wet stuff accumulated on driveway and deck.
Over 6" piled on picnic table.....same on the roof, so looks like that will need attention.
I would rather have had 24" of light powder snow that this stuff.
Temps will be dropping into the teens this evening/tomorrow morning and freezing everything in place.
Guess another bottle of Cigar Zin will be opened, followed by ice cold Cold Snap beer and pretzels
once chores are finished.
