Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the timing belt tips, it came out great. Thank God!!. I was hoping someone put speakers in the trunk of their interstate. I ran mine from the right side panel up to the trunk, I'm not sure where to-go into the trunk and bring the wires to the speakers. Any info would help!!

A search may turn up others. There has been posted the rear speaker wire harness. I forget where the plug in.

There is a hole in the bottom of the trunk the wires will feed into. You will need to separate the inner and outer trunk to drill a hole in the inner trunk by the right trunk hinge. Then drill a matching hole in the trunk lid. Drill a hole behind the right speaker pod.  All the speaker wires go through the holes and the left speaker wires are fed behind the backrest to the left speaker.

As Bikerboy  points out the factory way is different from my installation. I just described  how my installation is routed.

In the original installation instructions the wire ran up the front of the trunk on the outside and was held in place with clips.  It was never run into the trunk.
