For the donation to my wife's Spina Bifida of Central Indiana Charity.  That was very good of you man.

The letter addressed to Mrs. Jabba was VERY nice by the way.  She got a real kick out of that.

my pleasure Jabba

My cousin Ricky who is a year older than me was born with spina bifida which is now known that it can be avoided if you take a vitamin which I  think is pantothenic acid. Spina Bifida is when there is a gap in the spine and he has no use of the body below that point He has a brace to hold his legs and uses crutches and drives a car with hand controls since he was 18

I remember watching him compete in gymnastics in HS on the rings and pommel horse  He had to be held up to the rings at a hanging start, but from that he did iron cross and everything required no problem. Strong as a freakin bull.  He is still alive.

Tell Mrs Jabba that I am only sorry I could do no more than I did

I think it is folic acid, Oss. I've been wrong before though.

That helps but nothing is 100% effective.  The degrees of impairment are very wide... from an open spinal chord, to what's called spina bifida occulta, which is totally hidden.  I have that, and didn't even know it till my wife found it in my military health records.  Played football for 10 years, into college and a stint in the navy.  Ultimately, I broke my back in 5 places right where the spina bifida defect is...

Thanks again.  We both appreciate the donation.
