Ditto on the well wishes to everyone for the New Year. May you prosper and be well.

Since Rita is still in the nursing home with no release time in sight, I decided to sneak a bottle of bubbly into her room. My neighbor gave me one of those 6 oz. bottles out of a 4-pack, it did the job for us albeit a little early in the evening. Since we're such heavy drinkers  Roll Eyes, between the two of us we almost killed half of it.  Wink  She took 2-3 sips, as did I, slipped it into the bag when a nurse came in, then left with it about 10:00pm and tossed the remains in the trash can outside. Needless to say, the holidays this year left us lacking in "the spirit" normally associated with the period. I'm fearful this will be an extended stay for her....if not permanent. Time will tell I guess, I meanwhile have finally found a way to get a decent night's sleep. Drugs....the legal kind, what a relief.  Wink

Here's hoping for a better year in 2017.  cooldude

John riding his hayabusa

He's ordered a lowering kit and aftermarket exhaust so he's not riding it yet, but it looks brand new has 5,000 miles cooldude
