I have read many times that there is not a whitewall tire out there for the 1500 that is the quality of our liking, not sure if that is true.  Not sure how I feel about whitewalls.

Well, Maybe if I had a Harley Heritage Softail, but not on my Valk. I think I am getting the wheels powder-coated white, though. That is as close as I will get. Judging from the wear showing on my Metzler rear tire, I am sorely tempted to go to the Dark Side....... coolsmiley coolsmiley

How many miles, what PSI, and what size are you running? I found running the stock 180 I never got good mileage out of my Metz, but when I went to the 200/60r16 with 42psi, I was able to run in excess of 10k, often ran 12k. Plus, always used balance beads. A stock size front Metz, bias ply, 40psi with beads, I'll get in excess of 17k.

I agree, WW belongs on an old Harley or Indian. When on the Valk it looks like the owner is trying to be a Harley which aint what the Valk is.
Don, go for the darkside, you already have the double row bearing mod done on your Valk.  Wink

I like the whitewalls on the Red Valkyrie  cooldude

There's a smudge on them in the third picture, though... they'd
never do for me  Smiley
