It's "just" a Standard, and its not a 97... but it has some desirable
unobtainium on it (cobra light bar, Hondaline front fender bumper
and triple tips).

Even at $5,000, it is the kind of Valkyrie I'd want to get if I was
getting one... way better to start with a shiny lightly used (but
not unused) one with relatively low miles than a tired one
like I started with.

2K Tune up  Cheesy

If it was a good one, it was a fair price. A clogged up Valkyrie would need the carbs cleaned
and synced. Maybe they serviced the rear end. We'd all balk at $200 labor for rear tire
change, but if we want them to yank the final drive and shaft and clean and lube
and properly reassemble it, that's what a shop would have to charge. Some shop
(anyone know of one?) that did a lot of them would be fast enough at it to charge
less, I guess...

Most here do there own service. I just don't trust the Stealer to do anything that my life may depend on  Cheesy

I ran into this guy on day. Talked to him and said he didn't drive it much just to the store and short trips. Thought I could line up a local to ride with but didn't seem interested. Said he hardly got out with the bike much. Looks like he decided to sell.
