Really been thinking about an Interstate lately. I've got a Memphis Shades w/s,
Baker wings and fork deflectors on my 98 Std but still get a little too much wind.
Plus I'd like to have the extra 1.5 gallons of go-juice. Decisions, decisions. Hate
to sell mine and not be able to find an I/S in my price range for a while. I don't
get to ride enough as it is, no need to take a chunk out of my favorite riding time
of the year! OK, so if any of youse guys wanna trade an I/S for a Std give me a
yell. If I can't find a good trade, might just list mine in the classifieds and take my
chances. The thought of being Valkless for a while makes me cringe!! Undecided Shocked

A picture is worth a thousand words Bob. Do you have a good picture of your bike ? I've got one of it before you bought it but it does'nt show any of the goodies you've done to it..I'm thinking of selling mine but don't need another Valkyrie...Trade it for a Kawasaki Concours 1400 in black and we can talk   Wink  Good luck in the hunt  cooldude

Not any good ones. I hope to take some in the next day or two. I'm not dead-set
on selling/trading, just kicking around some ideas. I can do with/without the wind, just trying
to make it more comfortable for the Mrs. She don't tolerate "cold" very well. Thought I
would test the waters and see what comes up. You never know until you ask! cooldude

Get her some Gerbing's ...Start out with jacket liner and gloves....It will be some of the best money you ever spend to ride in comfort....I rode without it for years and now I could'nt see leaving home without it on cool fall and cold winter days. We have a Gerbing dealer just up the road here...Dixie Cycle in Clinton, Tennessee.

Joe,

This is not the first you have hinted at selling or trading in.  What is it about that Green Interstate that you don't like?  Or Don't you like Interstates?   Grin

I sold my Suzuki Bandit 1200S ( below ) and bought the Interstate on the sameday...I miss the power / speed .I'd never get rid of my yellow Valk and the blue/white has a rebuilt title so I'm stuck with it unless I give it away and that's not going to happen so the Interstate is the only one I can sell....If I sell  Undecided

I'll bet the Bandit was a blast to toss around.

I got a great deal in that bike I bought it brand new in 2005 it was a factory left-over 2003 model and I paid $5,250 out the door for it. It gave me 31,500 trouble free miles. I added the Givi trunk and had Nelson/Rigg saddlebags so I could do weekend trips on it also added stage 2 jet kit and a full Dale Walker HoleShot exhaust system . It carried me the fastest I've been on land...167 mph and it was still pulling. I've wished many times that I still had it , it was a blast to ride in the mountains.
