Lesa and I got out Saturday for a ride up to Astor and the Blackwater Inn. We ate upstairs at Williams Landing.
Usually we like this place. Was busy which we expected. Service absolutely sucked as well as the food!
Lesa's sandwich wasn't bad but my fish, which is normally pretty good up there, was swimming in grease and barely warm. Didn't even try more than the first bite. Took forever to get noticed, longer to get waited on, twice as long to get tea and then the food............
After all that I had the manager come over and take the fish off the bill. He was great. Our waitress then came over and after saying a couple of words mentioned that she was glad she wasn't the one that took our order......WTH?? Wonder if she remembers where she lives?
We were among a sea of the part time Harley crowd (in our Rocket Honda jackets). Every single one dressed in black with everything having the matching HD logos. Came out and a few were looking at the Valks but acted like they were invisible when we came out. Loved it! As usual, Lesa was the only gal that swung a leg over her own bike. The HD girls, almost in unison, looked away when that happened.

girl power!!  cooldude   way to go Lesa.    coolsmiley

I've had HD girls say they would never ride a trike, so I ask......
Me: what do you ride?
Them: a HD
Me: you didn't want to ride your own today?
Them: yes I am riding, point to bike.
Me: OH so your on the back, well I might be a trike but I'm on the front seat and in control.
Them: walks away saying "what a B...h"
Me:  no I said I'm on the front seat.  twist throttle and get out of there.

Getting back to this thread,  2funny

Seriously, this is a good spot geographically we need to keep for the North East peeps and most of the West Central goobs to meet in the middle. Has anyone been to the many other restaurants I see on Google Maps within a stones toss of this place?   ???

Let's try one, also we should consider a Daytona or Dixie C Rs run soon, I would like to run in the helmet store there that everyone talks about if Daytona. Even though I can only look  Roll Eyes  And a trip where we plan ahead and give the group time to plan, maybe get a BIG group.   Thoughts? Suggestions?

Dixie Crossroads is in Titusville, they did a nice job taking care of us last time, another in T ville is Shilohs was good too, keep in mind Daytona is busy in Feb. , I think the 500 is the 25th weekend, so weekend before and after are busy there. Too bad about Williams Landing, maybe the flood of HD riders threw em for a loop but who wants to be the next to review it ??  Maybe a T ville run during the race weekends wouldn't be a bad idea. Might have put the Helmet store off for another time.??
