The wigmeister is back... After a one year absence, I just registered for this year's Inzane. Can't wait!

It was hard to sit on the sidelines last year knowing how much fun I was missing. Considering my beloved Interstate was totalled after leaving my last one in Spearfish, I need to write a different ending to this year's version.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again, although I hope you'll accept that I'll be on an F6b. I still love being around Valks and their owners.

Great News Wiggy!!!

C U There!

Hay  Cool
Jimmyt

Thanks, Jimmy. Looking forward to seeing you and the Misses also! And even that Disco character!

We only have 9 so far coming from Canada (4 BC/5 AB). WA has 11, and if I'm correct, a few names aren't there yet.

Umm...10.

I know according to most of your signature maps, the world ends at Alberta...but Saskabush is in Canada too.  Grin

#Sasklivesmatter

So is Manitoba ........

Almost sounds like someone from the Centre of the Universe, Toronto.

If I missed you when I posted, Sorry. But as of my post I had only noticed BC & AB registrants. So how many others have I missed from Canada?

Heh, they didn't break out, they had to be forcibly evicted... Wink

But Kaelynn was first, Brian II was 30 seconds later and Blake 30 seconds after Brian II...

Trouble in paradise. Because of a mistake on my part, I don't have a reservation at Ground Zero. I've placed my name on a list in case of cancellations.

If anyone finds they don't need a room and would like to give it up, I'll be happy to take it off your hands. There might even be cold beverages involved.

Thanks in advance (hopefully),

There is no way that hotel is full.

You do need to call the hotel directly and identify yourself as a VRCC InZane attender.  If you call a national 800 number to make a reservation it will show as full as all the rooms have been set aside for VRCC InZane.

Yeah, we called last week to try to add a 2nd room since the spousal unit and spawnlets are coming and they told us they had rooms, but not at the Inzane rate...

So guess we'll just get really cozy in the room we've already got...

Edit to add - And this was from calling the hotel directly.

Serk, they are supposed to contact me if someone wants to reserve more than one room, as they are only allowed 1 room per registration number.  If you are still wanting a second room, I can call them and have them add it.

Also, there are no King rooms left, as they have all been taken but there are plenty of double queens, and a few suites available.  The suite rates are a little bit more.

Serk should have multiple registration numbers.

I can see where that distribution of rooms would occur.  There are more folks in the VRCC that identify themselves as kings than might be expected.  There are fewer sweet members than the population at large ratio would indicate.  The number of double queens within the VRCC is very, very low.

This is a question that I have never considered but, I'm happy to know this bit of information.   It's somewhat comforting to know that the "Queens" are not in the majority.   Wink

Not that there is anything wrong with being a "Queen".    Not real sure about that double "Queen" thing though.   2funny

Oh Yeah, BUMP....

Carl,

I called the number on the reg receipt. I was very specific in my questioning, she seemed pretty sure. I'd love for you to tell me otherwise.

I just spoke with the hotel.  I expect them to get this straightened out soon.  There may be a problem with a new girl (or guy?) on the desk.  The entire hotel will show full as it is blocked for us.  Apparently someone didn't know to go into the block.

There is a Jehovah's Witness gathering the first week of June in the hotel.  If you want to get in on that one you may be too late.

When she called today we did, when I called last week they were quoting me a MUCH higher number, thanks for getting it all straightened out!

TECHNICALLY most hotel rooms are capped at 5 occupants so we usually just sneak the 6th in but yeah, it gets to be a challenge, which is why she's getting a 2nd room at ground zero.

We're gonna run it as two separate family vacations that happen to converge for a while in Montana, the elder spawn and me on the Valk, and the spousal unit and the 3 spawnlings in a cage traveling on a totally different schedule to and from ground zero.

InZane registration has slowed down lately.  We're at 213.  I was hoping to be 300 by now.  I know we will get a bunch more with the home stretch rush but I'd like to see them sooner.

If you're planning to go but haven't signed up yet now would be a really good time.  It's really nice riding country and there will be a lot of fun folks there.

I've heard the occasional comment that there's always next year.  Next year is not guaranteed for any or all of us.

We'll plan on seeing some folks in Billings.
