This isn't a bolt-on replacement for a Valk rear drive, but you can press the spline cup out of the donor unit and press it into your toasted one.

You might get a good pinion cup too, but the drive shaft won't work on the Valk.

I'd ask and see if he has the star hub too.

Drive shaft should work.

The GW GL1500 drive shaft was replaced with the ones from the Valkyrie. So they are the same, but I would think the Valk one is "better".

You sure you're not thinking about the u-joint?  I've got a GW unit and the drive shaft is a different length.

All Goldwing driveshafts are about 3/4" too long for the Valkyrie. As a side note, I have not bought a Goldwing 1500 Final Drive that did not come with the Drive Flange that was mated to it.
