I've been to the "Charlotte" store, which is in Belmont off of I-85. Nice store.
Heard recently about a friend of a friend that had bought a new Indian. Metalurgy is supposedly off and so it weeps oil (supposedly). The optional factory saddlebags rub the passenger seat. What a shame, if it is true at all. Can't always trust friends of a friend.

In 2002 my old college roommate won second place at the Dauphin Island Show with this 1947 Chief. The first place went to his 1945 Knucklehead.

Nice pics and trophy. Been thinking about v twin last 5 years. as far as the oil leaks always thought it was just marking its territory
Been looking at 2002 power plus low miles they can be found 13000- 17000 keeping the Valk no reason to sell it. Still enjoy the Movie Worlds fastest indian.
