Carol & I are planning on heading up to Newfoundland this summer and are looking for recommendations on what to see & where to stay.  Can anyone help?

Three of us did it back in 2002. I'm sure things have changed since then but the Cabot trail is what to look up. The road to Meat Cove was interesting also
The other nice thing they had then, was a lodging phone number.. Close to the end of the day call the number and tell them where you are and they will tell you what rooms are still vacant..

I was looking for info on Newfoundland.  And yes, Meat Cove was an experience we won't forget (or my wife won't let me forget  Grin )
