First of all I would like to thank Steve (BLACK DOG), and Darryl from XF6-CUSTOM for all their help with the de-smoging of my bike and the bike of Drew Robertson (bluedrewid). My bike was running well, but I did it because it is 12 years old and I felt it was time. Drew wanted to do his because it was time and it had been running rough. As the first picture will tell, it is quite obvious why Drew's bike was running rough, we found a couple vacuum lines with holes, and several O-rings on the intake runners that were leaking.

Her is a picture of Darryl aptly named "THE BIKE WHISPERER" after watching (and learning) from him tuning carbs.

Here is a picture of Darryl and Drew Robertson from that vast flatland (Illinois) working on Drew's bike.

Here is the big guy (black dog) lending a helping hand, he came over "just because" he wanted to help out fellow VRCC members "get it done".

Thanks again, I had a good time, and I know the bike will run better than ever after the BIKE WHISPERER finished with it.

Jim,

What are friends for?  cooldude

On a cold snowy Wisconsin day, I can't think of anything I rather do than hang out, and work on bikes  Grin

Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...

I wish it would have worked out better that I could have made it.

Colin,
Just get a few bikes lined up that want to do a de-smog and I will be on my way to spain. I will bring freeze plugs, -rings and new hose. There is not much going at work, I rather go help out and work on a few Valkyries in Spain. Work on bikes 1 day and ride 7 days Smiley Smiley Smiley coolsmiley Cool Cool

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
