This is Valk related only in that the J&M CB is mounted on my Valkyie. I would appreciate it if anyone could help with this problem. I had a j&m cb on the bike  before and never had a problem. However I moved it to the ST and left it on when I sold it.  I bought a new J&M CB, antenna, and helmet headset and installed it on my bike. Everything seems to be working except that without touching the transmit lever if I tap, or scratch, or move the mike I hear it real loud in my headset. I can talk into the mike and hear it in my headset without touching the TX lever. Any insight to this problem will be greatly appreciated.....thanks......
