I have mixed many brands of IS and Standard seats and seen others that have done so as well and I know stock STD Seats fit the IS and I have seen stock IS dual seat on STDs.   I have a custom Corbin Interstate two up seat I have on loan from a friend and I was interested in picking this up for longer rides and use the early standard studded seats for 200 miles or less days as that is the limit for my wife on the potato chip passenger seat and I don't blamer her.  This Corbin seat was customized with extra gel padding and would be a great answer for us but it does not come close to fitting near the tank or the latch.  This is personally the first swap that I have seen that did not work.  Thoughts?

Yes, all seats interchangeable.

The IS gas tank is a little larger than the std/Tourer, so their seats get a little squished when on the IS.

I think someone said the Mustang is the only seat that has a different aftermarket seat for the IS and the std/Tourer.

I never liked the fit for me of the Corbin, only tried it for a week. Yet a local rider has had it for 15 years on his IS.

No sir.  Mustang is the only co making seats for valks that does not sell different sizes for interstate vs std/tourer.

Well, I definitely have a Corbin interstate two up seat that will not fit my standard  and I've seen it fit the interstate no problem.
