Snow turned to rain at my house about 4:00 so I got out to clean it up before it got even heavier with the rain.  We got 12 inches of heavy wet snow.  Temperature now is 34 so a lot of snow is already melting and blowing off the trees.  I'm thankful for that so that the chance of losing power is less.

From a look at the radar, looks like there could be a little more snow overnight, but for the most part, I'm done.  C'mon spring!

Started snowing here early afternoon...
Temps haven't changed , snow hasn't let up....
Supposed to change to sleet and freezing rain sometime overnight....
Glad you didn't lose power Tony...We're still on the fence here.

We got about 18" of heavy, wet, packed snow. I even snapped a shear pin.

I only got about 3 inches of slush.

I'm going to sleep for two days, and it will disappear all by itself.

That sucks. My snowblower had trouble with the 12 inches of wet snow. Don't thinks it could have handled 18 inches of the same.

I'm only about two thirds cleaned up. Didn't get two feet out of the garage before I lost a shear pin. Kneeling in 14 inches of snow putting it on wore me out.  Grin

I talked to three different people today who had their belts break cleaning up yesterday.  I guess I shouldn't bitch about a 2 minute shear pin replacement.  I'm going to source and order a belt tonight just to have one on hand
