Hi all,

Talking about parts for our Valkyrie 2017 model.
I ve bought one last week compliant date on the bike is Feb 2017!!!
the bike only 2 weeks old compared to today date!
it is the same with older model 2015 or 2014 or older models i guess in term of parts...
are you guys having any trouble finding parts for your bike? does Honda making parts for our special bikes? is it a concern for parts in the near future if we need?
thanks

I had mine backed into and sustained damage. It ended up needing a rear fender, muffler, and engine guard. Everything was available in the store, but the rear fender. That took a week to come in.

A good portion of the engine, chassis parts will cross to Goldwing, the fenders, exhaust, wheels, and a few others will not.

Myviolet- if you are referring to "aftermarket stuff", choices are very limited. The Honda powersports website has a few things, but most of the big aftermarket companies did not jump on the Valkyrie bandwagon.

@Adirondack Bill

How about the Honda parts, do we have any trouble finding the Honda genuine parts ?
I hope Honda will stock all parts for us, doesnt matter when we need them

myviolet,

I have dealt with this fellow and he has been very good on both prices and delivery.  But I'm not so sure about shipping to "down under."

http://www.hondaparts-direct.com/index.htm

I'm not affiliated with this vendor in any way, other than the fact that he's another Texan.

The Valkyrie has the same engine as the 1800 Goldwings. All parts are available through Mother Honda, Honda Parts-Direct, Babbits On-Line, and Partzilla. I spoke to Honda and was told that the Valkyrie was last produced in 2015. I believe that you have a 2014/2015 holdover that is considered compliant to Australia's D.O.T for 2017.

myviolet,

I went on the Australian site and although you just bought it, the last listing they have for the Valkyrie is 2015.  So you have a 2015 Valkyrie that was imported to Australia in 2017.

Unfortunately, they only made the Valkyrie for 2 years, but there are still a lot of them out there that have not sold.  Real pity, because it is the best cruiser out there.

Geezz, one of the best bikes out there!  I've ridden plenty, and this thing is completely unique.  People are just so damn brainwashed into what a motorcycle should look like.  I don't care though, it's unique, which in a sense, is like me: UNIQUE! 2funny  I love how people nearly stop in intersections and gawk at the bike... and I love the feeling of pride I get when I blow everything away..(within reason)...and the way it sounds.  The pipes get louder man as the miles build, and like a guitar, if you know how to handle it, you can make it sound really cool.  I love revving it at a dead stop before I slide the clutch...load up the intake manifold..almost a carb like growl..and then roll the throttle while sliding the clutch..sounds bad ass...and then near full throttle it sounds like a Porsche! So unique...
