I would like to lower the riding height about an inch as easy as possible. I see Ultimate offers a seat that is 1 inch lower than stock but the seat is to small for me 6'2 about 265. I have a email into Corbin to see if they offer anything is there another manufacture that anyone knows of that offers something. I know you can buy shocks that will do this but prefer not to go that way if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Just curious. At 6'2" I would imagine the Valkyrie would be too low and compact for you already. I am a short $h*! and stock ride height was ok for me, I did go to a lowrider from Ultimate and I like it, but sometimes it feels too short even for my 32" inseam. My other Valkyrie has a Mustang seat and I think it the same or higher than stock but still comfortable.
Why would a tall guy like you need the ride height lowered?
I Am 6'2" am and no the Valk isn't too low for that frame. And at my height I also have a 32" inseam but can easily flatfoot it and could if it were 3" higher.
The Lowrider is not really too small for you, there will be plenty of room for you to sit on it.
It may be too low, and it is stiffer than their Bigboy (2" higher), and a bit narrower in the nose, but you will fit on it.
I also question your need to go lower. I'm 5'9" with 29.5 inseam, and I get my feet down easily on either my lowboy or big boy with 13" shocks.
Avoid Corbin like the plaque, unless you like a concrete bock covered in leather with no definable seat pocket.
Advise you try and hook up with someone with a lowboy and switch seats for a ride on one. Ultimate does (or did) allow a return within X days for any reason at all and full refund (undamaged) so you have to decide quickly.
The. Ultimate seat puts my boys up where they don't belong, if I had to ride that saddle all the time I would sell her in a minute. Just sayin.
