Quick disconnect saddlebags

Anyone have the old two brothers quick disconnects for the factory saddlebags??
Wondering about the longevity of them and if drilling out the threads would be bad long term?!

I have the Rattlebars ones... I put my bags and rails on just yesterday, easy
peasy... I'll show them to you next time...

Yes, real easy to make your own set, just don't drill out the threads in the front hanger bolt...the larger one. Wait until you see Hub's set up and you'll see what I mean, it's easy to make with a quick trip to Ace Hardware or similar.

I'm using Edge/Ghost brackets for my soft bags. I added 1/4" Lexan panels shaped to fit  on the back panels and custom metal supports for the bottoms that attach to brackets.

What are they like? I don't even remember the OEM ones very well... I think the
main difference between them and the ones I have are that the OEM ones
are bolts, and the Rattlebars ones are threaded rods with nuts. Remove the
lower bolt and the shock bolt, then you can remove the two threaded rod
nuts and the saddlebag/rail is hanging there ready to lift off the bike...

They are like little push buttons with a ball in the other end
( like a ratchet )?!?
And 1/4" drill bit
