I put the badges and bike in for the night. I will pull her out for another scream tomorrow after work and stick them back on when done with my ride. But there was one more I took.  |

I really like that it just the right thing, but you seem to have a knack of doing that   I thought you were going to sell it or had already sold it. So what did you buy the badges for? I want the front Honda emblem to light up when the bike is on. I was thinking a translucent emblem so a led behind it would shine through it and show the emblem off and use as a side marker light. I bought a led ring and it goes on the outside of the emblem and lights it up the the leds are to noticeable for me. I also think we should have some fun with people and get a Hybrid sticker to put on somewhere thats noticeable.  |

I had the local Honda dealer call out of the blue and hand the phone to one of his customers who is interested in buying one. I was told that Honda bought back the Valkyries from the dealers who want them gone. My guess is they go over seas. Anyway he (dealer) called because he did not have any for sale and will not ever have one. This Charley down in Port Charlotte also said he checked with a few dealers who did not have any either. I do not have mine listed but he asked that if I did would I call him first.  Badges are for the 1500 black teal, but I have a set of euro on them now just not as nice as new. Shot at the cottage. (Valk clubhouse)  |

That is interesting news about the bikes, if they did this and there is a demand for the bike we could watch the prices of our bikes go up. I also worry that if anything happens to our bikes and we want to replace them we may be out of luck. I wish that there had been a bit more demand for them since the time to buy one to put away would be just about perfect. Just took a quick look see online at price and availability and it looks like the used prices are almost even with the new. Even the prices for the 1500 seem to be going up. There are a few low ones but consistently the prices are up. BTW a really nice looking bike that black teal the paint looks pretty deep to me. I swear you have almost every aftermarket piece of chrome on there. |
