« on: October 14, 2009, 06:48:20 AM »

Just dropping in as a new member, I ride a wing but just got a Valkyrie for my SO to upgrade from a VTX 1300R. Live in Jacksonville Beach, FL and do a lot of riding including 2007 Alaska trip of 15.500 miles> The last leg of that trip was 1512 miles in 23hrs 45 min wife was in ICU. Thanks for letting us hang out here and will be looking to gain more knowledge of the Valkyrie

Well, sort of.  We are in N.C. right now, but live about 60 miles from you in the suburbs of a small town, Worthington Springs.  Check the Florida board for rides to eat on weekends and some lucky folks also sometimes go to eat breakfast during the week!!

And a big howdy from us down here in Texas !     Smiley   Start buying the chrome now, it takes a lot of time to find all the necessary pieces the SO will want on the Valk.    Wink

Snoopy, welcome from southwestern Virginia.  You'll find all the help here you need for the Valk. I don't have all the answers but someone here will.  My wife has a 1200 Gold Wing (since 1988) and a VTX 1300.  Jump in here with any questions and someone will help you.
