Time you get the tank and airbox off why not just desmog and be done with it?  coolsmiley Then if you use the stock petcock yer down to one and Only one vacuum line.  cooldude lso while yer n the neighborhood look at the condition of the fuel lines. RIDE SAFE.

Your best bet is OEM tubing. It's 3.5mm diameter.

Really, you should desmog the bike, then buy your needed vacuum supplies from redeye.ecrater.com.

That was my first thought too. Before I opened the thread, there were mental images of taking the suspect tube down to the local joint that had a tester and a cabinet full of new vacuum tubes.

Damn I'm old. I remember my dad taking tubes to the local hardware store and checking them. "Those were the days my friend we thought they never end..."

There's a couple of desmog posts on the ShopTalk portion of the website:
http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/desmog.htm
and
http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/smog.htm

Red Eye has desmog kits that you can use to make it even cleaner, but it's not necessary.

Rather than modify/remove the exhaust port tubes, I just capped them off. Keeps the look stock and doesn't require any extra work.

Good luck my friend.
