I took Adrian's advice and put in the Synthetic 10W30 Lucas High Performance Motorcycle oil and the bike runs awesome with it.  The shifting is much better and the bike does feel like it accelerates faster.  I was running the Rosella T6 for the last two years, but the Lucas feels better.

Thumbs up Adrian.   cooldude cooldude :cool dude:

My new Avon tires run better than the OEM tires as well.  The thinner tire up front does make the bike quicker in the handling and runs nice on the straights as well.  I did a 6 hour ride today along the St. Lawrence river and it was great to get out.

Wink Hmm..cool... I am glad you have noticed the difference! cooldude  The only thing I haven't tried was the Rotella..and boy did I get fried by many, especially those of the 1500 crowd, for mentioning that you should use a 'wet clutch, motorcycle specific' oil! Grin  I will additionally add that the oil's properties, at least from a 'feelable' aspect, doesn't change during it's service period unlike Castrol's 4t product that starts out great, but then after several thousand miles begins to exude a rougher feel/run.

Have fun man!!
