So front tire was wore out at 8800 miles. Replaced it with this Shinko 777 Cruiser Tires
Front, 130/60-19 67H

In Stock: Ships within 24 hours
Qty: 1

$105.98 From Cycle gear.  Delivered in a day and a half.  No charge.
What a nice tire.  The steering is completely different,  like it has power steering.  The bike is so much easier to flip around.
The original tire always seemed to be made of very soft rubber.
And while I had it all apart, I checked the f wheel bearings and they seemed awfully dry.  I repacked them and I swear it feels better because of it.

I put a set of Avons on mine last fall, an AV80 (rear) and an AV71
on the front. Someone posted an Internet place that had the AV80s
on sale for $75 or so... several of us got them.

I'm pretty sure if I ride to work one more time, raw cord will be
showing on the AV80... 1650 miles. The front is still OK, and
both tires seemed to track and ride well. The AV80 isn't
able to handle a bike of this size...

I've had a Pilot Road 4 GT, a Pirelli Angel GT spec A and this AV80
on the bike... also, the bike came new with an ersatz non-OEM tire
on it that also wore out within 2000 miles.

Now that I can draw from experience, I have gotten another

HMMMM not to be a guy that said so, but I said that tire would not last long. But luckily it was only $75
