Many thanks for the info .... much appreciated.

I purchased some gloss black Tsukayu saddlebags and am thinking of getting a roll of 4" or 6" pin stripes to match the silver color of my bike.  Not sure if it's all gonna work out but doing some homework to see if it's feasible and cheaper than having them painted on.

Haven't got the bags yet as they are on backorder. I might find out that the surface is not flat enough to do this.

Well, you can always learn something on this forum. Didn't realize you can buy Aerosol cans of paint to match. That looks like the smart way to go. I'm guessing anyone that is rattle-can savvy should be able to produce a decent result.  Looks like no base coat is necessary for the silver and just shoot it with a clear coat.

I have a black and silver standard that I built some saddlebags for.  When I went to get paint, I found that ColoRite wanted WAY too much money for the paint.  So I went to NAPA.  Unfortunately, they couldn't cross reference the ColoRite paint code numbers to any of their paint lines.  So they took a scanner gun to my bike and scanned the paint in a few places and was able to match it up to a silver in their database...turned out to be a Lexus factory color.  Anyways, the paint is a very good match and was alot cheaper than the ColoRite.  Napa also had the maroon pin-stripe from 3M...I had to buy a big roll and it was a 2-line stripe. But it was only about $13 or so if I remember correctly, and it was easy enough to split the lines with a razor blade.
