Hello All,
Still getting to know the new board, but wanted to let everybody know that it is that time of year again. On Sunday March 29, I will once again be getting my head sahved to raise money for children's cancer research. In fact this year I am organizing the event with the help of some other Rogue Riders.
I know times are tough for a lot of folks, but imagine being a child and having to endure the horror of cancer and it's treatment. If you can manage it, please support me by donating whatever you can afford, it doesn't have to be a lot, every little bit helps.
I've set my personal fundraising goal at $2500. Last year with the help of many of the VRCC members I surpassed my goal of $1500 and raised just over $2000. Some of our members were very generous in their support and I am very grateful. The donation process is simple, just like ordering on line, go to my shavee webpage
http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/shavee_info.php?ParticipantKey=2009-335611#
and click on my photo, complete the donation form and enter your credit card information and submit it. It’s tax deductable and for a great cause.
Here is a link to our event web page:
http://www.stbaldricks.org/events/event_info.php?EventKey=2009-1032#
If you are in the area please join us, we’ll have a DJ and 2 Live bands, food raffles and fun.
If you can’t afford to help, I understand, times are tough, but if you know some one who can help, please pass on the information.
Thanks for your time
