I bought a new to me bike 1997 Valk standard,  the PO installed new cables and a drag bar,  the cables seem to be extra long , they are long enough that the choke will not engage, I have to hold the right side until it starts and then warms up.  there is no more take up space on the left side adjuster .   any suggestions...  TIA  crazy2

You do know the crossover cable has adjusters on both ends, right?

that knob idea looks like a keeper,  what's involved in that, ??  also I did not know about the cross over adjustment......... ya know... this is a great site...... laugh

Six Pack, here's a link to an old post of mine re. that choke mod. I've posted more recently but can't seem to find it, maybe someone else will remember. It was just the last few weeks, don't recall if it was in the Tech or General.
