Hello guys, my bike alternator failed, upon further inspection and test, i've tested separately the rotor and stator windings and they are ok, rectifier bridge is ok, faulty item is the regulator, i've already ordered a replacement but i really want to ride!!!!!!!..

I am trying to fit an external regulator, i bought a bosch 9290010412B regulator that has the IASF connections,

im a bit lost on how to wire it, i've already hard wired the two brushes externally and the diode trio output so i can connect it to the external regulator.

i am a bit confused on the S connector on the regulator as i've googled around and it is suposed to go to the stator. this alternators do not have a stator connection is there any guru here that can help me on figure out how to wire it??

as far as i know it goes like:

I - Ignition
A - Battery
S - Stator ??
F - Field +
