Did you re-assemble the final drive and drive shaft by the book so you get a proper alignment to the wheel?  How did the splines in the pinion cup look?

What Chris said, might also be the tire is out of round.

And did you take the plate off, and actually look at the condition of the dampeners?

First assembly I forgot to loosen bolts on spline, 2nd assembly, mounted wheel on axle , then the four bolts. No noticeable difference, gonna pull wheel once again and check balance & true ,, thanks

Ok, yes, but how did the pinion cup splines look?  Wear there will cause the vibration you are describing.

Update, pulled rear wheel third time, didn't appear to be balanced according to balance test on axle on stand, i.e. Wheel returns to same stop position when spun. Returned to tire shop for re balance,,,,was a little out. Reinstalled forgetting to spin on axle,,,seems better but, vibration at 30mph,,removed front tire
Checking once again on my balance stand. Same result, returned to tire guy who re balanced from scratch , put back on balance stand with same result, wheel stops at same location when spun telling me it is not balanced. While the front wheel is off I'm having front forks rebuilt. I think I'm gonna have another shop check the balance,,, as always , appreciate comments & opinions. Splines look good, didn't have problems till installed new rubber .

Your tires could be out of round and it will never balance if that is the case. Could be their balance machine is bad also

If it was the tire only, I think there would be syntoms while at cruising speed, not just acceleration and deceleration.

I agree with Chrisj,  check the spline condition and look to the drive train for the cause.   It sounds like you are getting vibration when the rear is loaded and unloaded only, that would most likely be drivetrain.  Yes, the wheel may be out of balance or round, but that would be noticeable all the time, not just under loads.

Well 2 months later, and lots of parts I just installed new dampers and seems to have solved the problem on accell, decell. Defiantly needed. Wished I'd checked that first, but was a elimination process. I now have new wheel bearings ,front & back, both tires triple balanced, new shock grommets, and a new u-joint. Splines & gears look great to me. Looking forward to some smooth rides !!! Thanks for the help all !!
PS funny thing I didn't notice the vibration till I put new rubber on ??

Still having some vibe issues Angry guess  I can't be sure on the tire till I change out ? It's not terrible, but not right. Do I keep riding to get some mileage out of the tire or buy another tire & find out it's not the problem ?? Can the clutch have any vibration issues ? Again , seems most noticeable at 30-35 mph ?

If you didn't check/grease the pinion cup, that one can bite you.  Beware if the vibration gets worse

Try ride-on or dyna beads. You can make you own balancer fairly easily and on the cheap.  You tube will show you how to do it yourself.

Ok, hope this closes out this learning experience ,,, bought another new rear tire. Vibration solved. Lesson learned , bargain product are worth exactly what you pay for them ! That cheap Shinko cost
Me , both wheel bearings, u joint, dampers (needed) shock grommets and lots of patience. At 74k don't regret , I should be trouble free for awhile. Hope others benefit from my experience & and thanks to all that offered advice ! Ride on !!!!!!

any tire mfg. can get a bad tire not just Shinko.

I would contact shinko and get your money back.

I had good luck with that and they sent me a new rear tire for free no charge.

Edit: I see you replaced the tire and got it fixed. That's great. Enjoy the ride. Smiley

Does the front tire wobble at that speed when you let go of the handle bars? Just hold them very loosely?

I've had more than one bad front tire that created a front end wobble at 30-37mph, accel and decel. Just wondering if you might be picking up a front tire issue?
