I'm using a Shoei Neotech and like it. Very comfortable and good ventilation.

I bought a Shoei Neotec and I find it very noisy at AZ freeway speeds. Opening the top vent makes it worse.  People say it is a quiet helmet and that is why I spent $900 for it but even wearing earplugs I'm not happy with it...

No problem with the fit, I find it very comfortable..

Try HJC, they aren't the quietist helmets but they are great value for money and look gorgeous.
I have the HJC SY-Max 3, if you go one step up from what I have the HJC RPHA Max Helmet is supposed to be really good (and also super light).

I have had my HJC SY-MAX for just over 10 yrs and am looking to replace it due to age. I will probably go with the HJC RPHA-MAX because I have been happy with HJC My SY-MAX and the RPHA is a step up and lighter than most.

It has kept me dry and comfortable thru 40 states and is still my go to Helmet for any trip I take.

I'm getting old and forgetful. Sometimes I don't remember where I left it.

On a serious note,,,,, has anyone heard of any States issuing a ticket for a Helmet over 10 years old?   I heard a rumor NY did it to a guy upstate last year.

As I said RUMOR !!! I searched and could not find any such law but thought I would ask.

Hadn't heard of any tickets being issued ....
Have heard of helmet interiors becoming inferior due to age....
Hence, buying new every x-amount of years being recommended....
Kinda has some merit associated with it, as does replacing the helmet
after a good thump with the pavement.
