Lemondrop, acting as the N Texas representative of the WRCC (Walking Really Carefully Club, or was it Wrecked Rehab Convalescing Club?), was kind enough to save me having to purchase a Walkyrie of my own.  Because I can't ride a two-wheeler yet, I decided to accessorize the loaner to "make it my own".  Here are a few pictures of my project to date.

Here it is as a Walkyrie Standard.  Gotta love the classic lines of the naked cruiser.

Here is a front view of the Walkyrie Tourer, complete with a quick-release air wings / faring assembly with dual drink holders, and removable fork-mounted nylon luggage.  Comfort, convenience, and style for the trip.  Easy conversion takes just seconds.

Here is a side view.  Please note the new pair of Dunlop rears.

Next up: Grips.  Those oem grips are really hard if I don't wear my gel gloves.

Wow! that looks like a low mileage unit! What kind of fuel economy do you predict after the break in period? You GOTTA bring it to the IZX bike rodeo! I'll bet that thing can take the slow ride trophy with style!    cooldude

Looking good, I hope the healing is going well.

Sweet   cooldude

That's what great about Walkeries...  Seeing what folks do to make them unique.  One question...  Any of the accessories inhibit your left turn clearance?  Wink

I'm going for the "rat" look.

Funny!  It is a low-mile barn find.  The mpg is really good - I just idle around.  I'll be back on 2 wheels in plenty of time to ride to Bellaire, MI, but you're right, I've got the slow ride nailed!

I have the windshield cut WAY down so I can maybe get some wind in my face.

No comment on the exhaust it emits...

Yep, in an homage to its predecessor, there is some tupperware.

Sent the SO for tires.  The road keeps rubbing the fuzz off mine.  She was looking for blue balls but grabbed the first ones she found.  The healing is going very well, but I've learned it's very important to use the word "road-" when telling folks that the rash on my ass itches.

I have plenty of clearance in stock form and don't think I'll add an aftermarket centerstand.

The first turn signals were too wide and made certain doorways very difficult to negotiate.  I'm working on some sportier ones.  And, in the name of safety, Janet is going to get me a reflective triangle I can wear on my back.

Now she wants one with wheels front and back and brakes on it like the old gent across the street. His also has a seat on it, something to consider for yours. Not sure if that's for the driver or passenger though.  Grin

I think it needs some chrome balls hanging off the rear fender.

Yes.

Oops.  Lori may have cleaned it away.  RHonda said after several visits with the doctor you no longer needed to carry a purse.   Grin
