I'm 6'6" with a 36" inseam, is that close enough? He'll need an Ultimate King Seat with backrest, a peg lowering kit, Cobra floorboards, straight 3" or 4" handlebar risers, and Kury highway pegs for starters. Might consider mini-Apes as well. Down where you are a peg lowering kit with floorboards is a no brainer. If you live and ride in the twistie mountains there might be some exciting board scraping. I installed hardened steel pucks on the bottom of my boards because I do live in a mountainous area. I scrape them all the time but it's not a big deal. I'm still working on improvements. Mini-Ape handlebars are next and when I get the cash I'd like to install the XF6 Extreme Boards just to have another foot position for long rides. At the end of the day it should be nice and comfortable. Tell him to plan on @ $2k extra cost on top of the price of the bike. There are forward controls for these also. Bigbikethings makes them...currently out of stock. I think I saw a used set for 4 or 5 hundred on the classified board recently. Bottom line is he has some options. It's definitely doable.

He lives in Fl and NC, he has a really tall BMW 1200 enduro thing and a custom stretched Harley.  I do believe he would be interested in a custom stretched 1500.

I wonder how big of a job that would be.

I misunderstood your question. I'll let the metal cutters/fabricators weigh in here. That's way above my paygrade. Wink If it's possible I am interested though.

On the old Tech Board, a member - "EPinNC" - who occasionally posted was almost 7ft. He rode a Standard. Maybe he'll weigh in, or someone can find the threads and see what he did to his bike to make it work for him.
