I've got her almost finished. I got tiny but super bright LED turn signals. I guess I need a load leveler/load equalizer, whatever they call it. When I turn on a turn signal all 4 come on like flashers. Is that a sign of needing that load leveler???? If I get one, how and where does it get wired in????

Yes, that is what you need. The one I bought for my bike just replaced the turn signal flasher unit. (Plug and play) it only lasted about 4-5 years and then that started acting up.

No. You have backfeed through the single flash indicator in the headlight. The OEM design uses the opposite turn signal bulb for ground which is fine for incandescent but lights up the bulb with LED's making them inadvertent 4-ways. You need to separate the grounds. I did it with 2 LED's one for each circuit in place of the tungsten flash indicator bulb. Bonus they are red and bright, much more obvious than the OEM bulb. There's a kit to separate the grounds and this has been discussed here several times. Use the search fn. Here's a thread on this problem. http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,81757.msg803310.html#msg803310

OK now, That's as clear as the volcanic mud in Scortoasa Romania. One of you say yeah just replace the flasher with a load leveler, plug and play, good to go. Another says I need to isolate and run 4 separate grounds. The one who said I need to run separate grounds gives me links that say I need to replace the dash light and put in a diode. I'm soo confused???????

Just order a $7 diode kit from Kuryakyn and install it in the headlight bucket. Cut a couple wires, solder in a couple and you're good to go. If the new lights flash too fast, you MIGHT need to change the flasher, but don't do so until the diode mod is done.

What I did was replaced the Rear Turn Signal Bulbs with LED Bulbs and didn't change the Front Bulbs to LED Bulbs...The turn signals blink fast but they don't all blink at the same time...I find that the rapid flashing draws attention to those in front and behind me while I am riding...Seem to be safer in traffic...!!! Simple too...!!!

All I know is that I had the same issue, all the signal lights would light up, and not flash when I went to 4 corner led's. I spotted a unit on the internet, I think it was a motorcycle parts dealer. The unit replaced the flasher, and it stopped the cross over.
I have no idea how it worked, or why it worked, but it did. If I remember correctly, it was a heat sink of sorts that put a load on the system?
I have since sold the bike so I can not even look on it to get you a name, sorry.

I ordered the diode kit, will wire it up when it comes in. I can live with the fast blinking, think it is more noticeable so I'll leave that alone. When the kit comes in maybe someone who has done it will tell me which wires to snip and where to solder what????
