Just heard a rumor Obama watched a football game last weekend and now he has been nominated for the Heisman Trophy.

I'm not surprised he got a second nomination. He probably promised free tickets or world peace or something.

Exactly the same as everyday, unfortunately.  We are in the hottest part of the year.  That means it gets down to 72 at night, about 90 or 91 during the day.  It rains off and on every two or three days, anywhere from 1/2 hour to half a day.  Humidity hangs around a constant 75 to 80 percent so you are guaranteed to be soaking wet with any physical activity at all.

Then, we move into the cool season.  Now, it gets down to 72 at night, and only about 85 during the day.  It rains almost everyday during December through mid January... sometimes half an hour, sometimes half a day, sometimes all day.  Humidity hangs around the same 75 to 80 percent.

Because we are on the equator, we get no tornadoes or hurricanes.  Singapore is protected from earthquakes and tsunamis by the Indonesian islands of Sumatra on the west and Borneo on the east.  Can you say 'boring weather'?  It is always the same.  I miss four seasons.

It is great to go to Hong Kong in March/April... cool and clear... the pollution from Guangzhou in China blows north instead on onto Hong Kong and the weather is cool and dry.  Or a trip to Brisbane in July... Ozzie winter... just like cool Colorado mountain days... warm in the afternoon, crisp to cold at night.  Only good thing about Singapore's tropical weather is you can play golf year round, and with a rain suit, ride all the time.
