Angry Honda dealers are blowing out their 2015,2016 F6B's. I thought well, I always wanted one, so time to pick one up and then they told me the F6B has never offered ABS! Whatttttt! Lost my sale. Why would Honda be so old as not to offer the brake system BMW has had for years?

Hard to believe that Honda still has 2013 leftovers.

I've been doing the same in keeping my eye out for the deals.  I thought the Deluxe had ABS, center stand, cruise, self cancelling turn signals and heated grips?!?

If you feel like going through the paperwork of getting a Canadian model, you can have ABS. Not to mention the travel, or shipping costs. USA models have no ABS which I really wanted on my new bike.  I seriously thought about a Canadian F6B, but the killer deals on Valkyries here sold me on a black ABS from here in the USA, from my local dealer no less!! The rest of the world gets ABS on the F6B, as well as the Valkyrie or F6C. Good thing I like black, and probably will get a cheap used Goldwing with ABS for serious travel, but as of now, job and family limit me to day trips so The Valk is best for that anyway.

Check out Kijiji Calgary.  A dealership has a new, white 2016 HONDA F6B 1800BG for $21,500 plus fees.  Those are Canadian dollars, so that works out to about $15,900 US.  Check into importing.  It may be worth it.  Here's the  link: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-touring/calgary/2016-honda-f6b-1800bg/1267870264?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

I'm a real ABS fan (and a long beemer too  Grin) but as far as I know, some bikes really do need it, others don't. I rode for a test the first BMW S1000RR with no ABS and it was really frightening (so close to unvoluntary stoppies  Shocked). But I had it on my K1200 R and later on my K1200 GT, R1200 GS wc, it was a real relief, I drove in total confidence on wet roads all through the years. But I have had a KTM 990 SMT with ABS and I never used it, thanks to the bike's global balance, neither on a 2008 GSX-R 1000.

I never use the ABS on my 2014 Valk (except sometimes on the rear because the ABS is way too intrusive) but IMHO, you shouldn't focus that much on the missing ABS on the F6B, as long as the front and rear brakes are synchronised. And you probably don't ride a F6B with the same energy or impatience you have when on a S1000RR  Wink
